Boise State Public Radio welcomes Larry Newton as its corporate support manager.
Newton has more than 20 years of local radio and television experience. Most recently he was director of the Traffic Now Network, comprising six radio stations in the Boise area owned by Peak Broadcasting.
Previous positions include general manager of KNIN Television and general sales manager of Clear Channel Communications in Boise. In addition to his experience in broadcast operations, Newton has worked with a variety of business owners and marketing executives to help them successfully develop and grow their businesses.
?I am excited about the opportunity to work with everyone at Boise State Public Radio,? Newton said. ?This vital service provides so many benefits: great local news, culture and arts programming and a unique platform for connecting with the community.
