What is it that seperates the leaders from the losers in network marketing? ?Take a second and guess before moving on. ?Do you think you know? ?Here it is:
Leaders are willing to do things that losers won?t.
I know it sounds basic but it?s true and if you think about it?.so powerful.
What is network marketing really all about? ?It?s about leadership development. ?The only way to succeed in this business is to lead and to lead at the very highest level you are capable of.
Eventually you?ll work yourself out of network marketing while enjoying the benefits of lifelong residual income. ?Basically the whole point of you starting your own MLM business in the first place.
How does this happen? ?By developing other leaders in your downline who are all-star recruiters?that create explosive growth in your downline and maximize duplication. ?That?s what puts the residual income in your pockets. ? You allow them to take your place while you oversee your business from a distance just to be sure your team isn?t shrinking. ?The real value is not the number of people in your network but the number of leaders you?ve developed in your network.
To become a great leader. you must apply the following requirements?
6 Requirements of Network Marketing Leadership
Lead Yourself
But this won?t happen until you make the decision that you are to become a leader and lead yourself first. ?If you can?t lead yourself, how can you lead a team or develop leaders? ?You must control your own actions so it influences the actions of your whole team. ?You create a culture that will duplicate just like your recruiting process duplicates.
Grow Your Network
So when you grow your people, you grow your network. ?Any leader will tell you that it seems like some cosmic force is controlling their team by the actions they take. ?When they are super producing, so is their team and when they slack off, so does their team. ?It?s extremely important to create a culture of personal growth in your team. ?The only way to achieve this is to have a self-development program for your team that goes beyond the positive books and audios.
Lead People, Don?t Manage Them
Another big mistake some leaders make is they want to manage their?team?and not lead them. ?Learn to lead people and manage things. ?The things you should be managing are your autoship, webinars, training, team meetings, home parties, etc. You want lead by causing your team to do things they didn?t want them to do when they first joined your business. ?You?re not forcing them to do these things, you are inspiring them to do these things by doing these things yourself. ?You?re leading by example.
Develop Leaders
Don?t try and sell your team on what a great leader you are. ?You want to sell them on what they are capable of achieving and their ability to do more, have more and become more. If you can build them to believe how truly great they really are, you will truly be a great leader.
You Need Everyone
Keep in mind that a majority of your team doesn?t want to be a leader. ?They?re afraid to lead. ?It?s probably because they?re afraid of the responsibility that comes with leadership. ?So you should never belittle or humiliate these people. ?You need all types of people in your network to make it thrive. ?If you discard the 85% that are perfectly fine with making $500 ? $1000 every month then you won?t have a network at all. ?Treat these people with the same amount of respect as you do with the top earners and leaders on your team.
Don?t Be Self-Centered
If you recognize and celebrate the achievements of your team, there will always be more to recognize and celebrate. ?So learn to help your downline acheive the next rank and help them reach their goals instead of worrying about your own. ?If you focus on giving first you will be sure to have what you want in life and a lot more. ?Since this is the business of leverage, can you imagine how prosperous you will be if you helped 5-7 of your?front-line?people to become super producers?
