Robot car controlled by an iPad - video

Footage showing robotic technology from Oxford University that allows a car to 'drive itself' for stretches of a journey. The route is programmed using an iPad application and the driver is then free to take his hands off the steering wheel. The car also uses sensors to read its surroundings, and will stop if it detects pedestrians crossing the road
