Reporting to the Prospect Research and Grants Manager, the Database and Records Manager is an experienced development services professional who is primarily responsible for the operation, configuration, and maintenance of Citi Center?s Raiser?s Edge database and associated computer systems. Duties include managing the recording, receipting and acknowledgment of gifts to Citi Center in the Raiser?s Edge; constituent segmenting, tracking, and reporting; prospect management support; and Raiser?s Edge management, supervision and training. The Database and Records Manager will help establish and maintain gift accounting process and procedures documents, as well as identify and implement improvements for procedures.
This position requires a mastery of Raiser?s Edge; a comprehensive understanding of gift processing principles, best practices and IRS standards; a high level of professionalism, collegiality, self-motivation, organization, and familiarity with the goals and objectives of Citi Performing Arts Center. This role also requires strong experience working in a team, as the Database Manager will collaborate not only with members of the Development Office, but also with Citi Center colleagues in Finance, Marketing, Education, and Theatre Services to ensure accurate and timely gift processing, reporting and database updates, and appropriate interfacing with the organization?s systems. Qualifications ? Bachelor?s degree required; advanced degree preferred. Minimum five years of experience in gift processing or related transferable experience required. Mastery of Raiser?s Edge is essential; knowledge of WealthEngine, WealthPoint, ResearchPoint, and Spark are pluses.
